紀勢本線（新宮～和歌山市）
紀勢本線は、紀伊半島を一周し亀山駅と和歌山駅・和歌山市駅を結んでいる。事実上の終点は和歌山駅で、和歌山～和歌山市間は独立した支線のような扱いとなっている。
周参見駅の中線は撤去されました。
双子山信号場では副本線の架線が撤去されました。
