東能代と川部を結ぶ路線。各駅に停まる普通列車のほか、秋田発着の快速「リゾートしらかみ」が1日3往復運転されており、少ない交換駅を有効に活用した運転が行われている。
東能代運輸区は2022年3月に東能代統括センターに改組されました。この配線略図は改組前のものです。
